Guy speaks

"So now it is almost two years since the Levees failed, the money to maintain them siphoned off to feed the war effort. I catch my self every time I almost say "Katrina", as it was not the hurricane that flooded the lowlands, but the failing of the public works. Now bridges all over the US are being questioned as the infrastructure of the States are sold. Time for some hard questions for our leaders, the tax collectors. Just in time for our Grand Party of Presidential Campaigning. In The New York Times I read an editorial that had a fine suggestion: when the candidates meet to debate domestic policy, let them meet in New Orleans, on the floor of the Super Dome, with the people they would lead surrounding them. Let it be their business to make sure that every American has a piece of the high ground. " -Guy Forsyth
